#126 What Am I Gonna Do Next? with Jack LaFountain

from Off The Comma · host Paul Briley

In this episode, we talk to Jack LaFountain. He describes himself as a vagabond dreamer. Jack lives in the United States. Jack tells us about sitting on a comma after a back surgery necessitated a career shift. When the prospect of continuing to work as a nurse was no longer possible for Jack, he pivoted through retirement and into writing full time. While writing and creating had always been a part of his life, Jack now had to overcome the challenge of self-promotion in order to give his books the life they deserved. Through his journey of leaning into becoming a writer, he learns that self-promotion doesn’t negate his passion for service to others. Tune in to hear what Jack means when he says “my characters wake me up sometimes in the night.”You can find Jack on:Website:  www.jacklafountainauthor.com  Facebook:  www.facebook.com/authorjacklafountain  Linkedin:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/jack-lafountain-729b99209/Jack would like to acknowledge the following individuals, organizations and/or causes that matter to him and invite you to consider supporting them and/or sharing their messages:American Legion Post 237  https://www.legion237.com/post-location  Since our charter, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces.
