Heidi Markle has an extensive background in special event production and has been the Marketing & Events Manager with Kansas City, MO Parks & Recreation for 17 years. In 2000, KC Parks joined the Make Music Alliance and, together with a committee of local live music enthusiasts and professionals, presented Kansas City’s first city-wide Make Music Day in 2021. Heidi enjoys cooking, happy hours, her puggle Harper, and helping to make KC a great place to live, work and play!    In this episode, Heidi shares her deep passion for live music and community engagement, which she channels into organizing diverse events and festivals that activate the city's parks and public spaces.
