128. From breakdown to breakthrough with Andrew from Victoria.

from How I quit alcohol

Andrew is a truck driver, Dad, Husband and a sober guy on a gentle journey of self discovery.  Growing up and not being sure how to express his emotions and bottling his feelings up led to Andrew to find himself in some pretty dark places which was exacerbated by alcohol.  With the help of his beautiful wife, Andrew started to recognise that alcohol was making him so much worse and eventually decided to give it away.  He has been sober now for over 12 months at the time of recording.  He has gone from a place of very low self worth to loving who he is, he is happy, he is healthy and he has even come off his anti-depressants.   This is a true message of hope.  Andrew is walking and talking testimony that you can pull yourself out of the darkest of places.   **Trigger Warning** This episode discusses suicidal ideation, and some people might find it disturbing.
