Gilbert Contreras was the translator. Father Navarro’s research is mainly focused on human trafficking and how people of faith respond to these issues. They discuss the differences between trafficking and smuggling by separating the terminologies. Father Navarro also discusses how labor is more common in Argentina but it has become a part of normalized culture. Father Navarro shares ways to help prevent human trafficking by bringing awareness that we should not be a slave to anyone, and our faith helps us to believe that and helps other believe that as well. He desires to educate people to know that all people have rights and should demand that the justice system functions accordingly. If we believe that we are children of God, made in the image of God, then no one has the right to put power over anyone else or have the right to make someone a slave.
