Des chercheurs français publient la découverte du premier astéroïde quadruple : (130) Elektra, un astéroïde comportant trois petits satellites. Son troisième satellite a été identifié grâce à un traitement très élaboré d’images d’archives qui avaient été enregistrées en décembre 2014. Il a une taille estimée de 1,6 km. Cette découverte est parue dans Astronomy&Astrophysics.
