13. Black Lives Matter

Today's episode of Shoot The Ship podcast is a special one. We spend this episode discussing the race-based murders that have been occurring in the states and have a broader conversation about racial issues experienced by the black community. Special thanks to Justice Igweze, Caleb Tackey, Ariel Barrientos, Zikra Awosanmi, and Markus Hailemicheal for their contributions to this episode. Your vulnerability, perspectives, and first-person experiences with this topic were invaluable, and there is a lot to learn through listening to your words. We would like to dedicate this episode to George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and the many other black lives that have been unjustly taken due to race-based murders.
