David Morrissey is an English actor, director, producer and screenwriter. At the age of 18, he was cast in the television series One Summer (1983). After making One Summer, Morrissey attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, then acted with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre for four years. He is most well-known to fans of The Walking Dead and Dr Who, but his body of work is huge and diverse. David met up with Jim and Giles down at the Nordic Bar just before Christmas. We examined David's early life, and the brave decision he made to leave home and pursue acting at the age of 16. We discuss what it means to be involved in a theatre company and the bonds you make with your 'Theatre Family'. David takes us through his love of the craft and those dreaded blank moments on stage.
