Emunah is not just belief in Hashem or that everything is for the best. It is a deep, pre-rational faculty of the soul—an inborn, quiet confidence in life itself. Every day, we rely on Emunah without realizing it: when we sit on a chair, turn on a light, trust our senses, or fall asleep without fear. Emunah is the soul’s natural trust that reality is reliable and that we are held. By becoming conscious of this faculty, we strengthen it—so when life truly tests us, our Emunah is already awake, steady, and deeply rooted within us.
