#13 - Gert van der Vijver, hoe de Zandtovenaar geroepen werd (S02)

In Levensbepalend is Zandtovenaar Gert van der Vijver te gast. Toen hij in Rijsburg opgroeide leek het er even op dat hij de bloemenhandel van zijn vader zou overnemen. Toen hij op een dag drie keer de stem van God hoorde was dat scenario definitief van tafel. Met zijn zandbak reist hij tegenwoordig de hele wereld over om verhalen te vertellen met zijn zandtekeningen. In Nederland zien we Gert vooral met Pasen en Kerst op televisie maar hij doet ook allerlei samenwerkingen als bekendheden als Marco Borsato, Stef Bos en Edsilia Rombley. Door corona komt ook veel van het werk van de Zandtovenaar stil te liggen. Maar het zand kruipt waar het niet gaan kan; Gert van der Vijver gebruikt zijn tijd om te werken aan een nieuw project waarin hij het verhaal van Narnia vertelt. Elsbeth Gruteke interviewt deze creatieveling over zijn werk, zijn geloof en zijn leven.
