13: Gilmore Girls- S2: E5-6

This week, I’m covering two episodes of Gilmore Girls—season two, episodes five and six! Episode five marks the arrival of Jess (aka Dale in my head), Luke’s rebellious nephew, and he’s all bad boy vibes—cigarettes, stolen books, and moody stares—and Lorelai’s dinner invite doesn’t quite smooth things over. Meanwhile, Rory is navigating awkward tension with Mr. Medina at school and accidentally ends up assigned to interview him for the school paper (thanks, Paris). Then in episode six, Rory is coming out... to high society and is presented at the Daughters of the American Revolution debutante ball. Christopher shows up for a change for his fatherly duties —only to leave Lorelai hanging with the bombshell that he has a girlfriend.
