13 Going on 30 (2004)
from This Ends at Prom Hosted by Brennan Klein
“I think all of us want to feel something that we've forgotten or turned our backs on because maybe we didn't realize how much we were leaving behind. We need to remember what used to be good. If we don't, we won't recognize it even if it hits us between the eyes.” Harmony is turning thirty, flirty, and thriving, so there was no way BJ was going to pass up the opportunity to watch the Jennifer Garner classic, 13 GOING ON 30. BJ dives deep into the psychology of teenage girls, Harmony makes a compelling argument for a transgender read of Jenna's transformation, and both debate whether or not Mark Ruffalo was meant to be a romantic leading man. ----- Articles Discussed '13 Going On 30' And The Problem With Skipping Over The Hard Parts: https://www.elle.com/culture/movies-tv/a32304685/13-going-on-30-anniversary/ ----- Become a Patron! www.patreon.com/thisendsatprom Find the show on Twitter & Instagram: @ThisEndsAtProm BJ Colangelo —Twitter & Instagram: @BJColangelo Harmony Colangelo — Twitter & Instagram: @Veloci_trap_tor ----- Logo Design: Haley Doodles @HaleyDoodleDo Theme Song: The Sonder Bombs 'Title': https://thesonderbombs.bandcamp.com/
