Today we go on exploring new territories with the listening of another “complete album” recommendation. Our guest this time is German guitar player Manuel Göttsching. Yes, the guitarist of Ash Ra Tempel and member of the Kosmischen Kuriere. A legend of the German rock! But today we won’t hear any 70s recording but an album released in 1984, obviously quite far from the psychedelic times. Anyway, you will still enjoy a musician interested in breaking more boundaries. The album is called “E2-E4” and had only one track. Probably the longest track on earth, with permission of minimalism guru Steve Reich. Please take it into account that this long track named after a chess movement, could be another good door for the imminent Detroit techno scene and of course for the electronic trance scene that came few years later.
