13. Wag the Dog (1997)

Political movies in the '90s were REALLY good at predicting what would happen to the country, and 1997's 'Wag the Dog' was no different. This political satire - starring Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman - about a fake, manufactured war used to cover up a presidential sex scandal was eerily prescient, as the Monica Lewinsky scandal would break just weeks after the movie was released.
