Conversation 132:  The Story, Journey and Passion of Abbie Scott, RD, LD “Sometimes I have to pinch myself, especially if it is a really hard day at work. I’m working where I want to be, in eating disorders. Even though the most stressful days are VERY stressful, I still really get a lot out of this work. And I know I am making a difference.” Abbie Scott, RD, LD Today’s conversation is with Abbie Scott, a registered dietitian who has a passion for her family, yoga and working with eating disorders. Abbie is one of the most passionate dietitians I have ever met. We met while working for the same company a few years ago and I was also so impressed with her desire to be a lifelong learner. She has had a few different jobs as a dietitian and embraced them all as stepping stones. She is currently working for the Emily Program in Minnesota which specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. This is the field of dietetics she has a personal connection to and is extremely passionate about.  Abbie shares some great insight into this ever-evolving field and how she balances her personal life with her career.
