De 6 januari-commissie schetst met ‘made for tv’ hoorzittingen het Witte Huis van Trump als een verdeelde plek. Aan de ene kant het team dat Trump steunde in beweringen van verkiezingsfraude, met een blijkbaar dronken Rudy Giuliani. Aan de andere kant ‘team normaal’ zoals een getuige het beschreef. En dat team geloofde niet in Trumps fraude. In dat team zat ook minister van justitie Bill Barr. Hij noemde Trumps beweringen van fraude bullshit, crazy stuff, en nog veel meer. Bernard en Jan bespreken de ontwikkelingen in de hoorzittingen over de bestorming van het Capitool. Daarnaast staan ze stil bij de Democraten, want er gaan steeds meer stemmen op om een alternatief voor Biden te vinden in 2024. Ook is er weer veel aandacht voor luisteraarsvragen.
