132 | {Rebroadcast} Stages of Grief After Abortion Series Part 4: Bargaining

*This episode is a rebroadcast of our Stages of Grief Series from May/June 2023* Have you ever done something wrong, or maybe not lived up to an expectation, and then tried to make it up to the person you wronged? Maybe you said you’d get home at certain time and were late, so you told your spouse you would make it up to them somehow.  Perhaps you missed out on hanging out with your child so promised them ice cream or a treat to make up for it.  In each situation, you’re bargaining in an effort to keep the peace.  While these actions are fairly trivial in comparison to what we’re talking about, they are still examples of what we do when we know we've done wrong.  When it comes to our abortion decision, it’s common for us to feel like we need to pay a penance for what we've done.
