#1: Remediators are NOT inspectors. They are going to come in, remediate whatever you tell them to, and leave without checking for any other issues. #2: You might not need something remediated. Sometimes an area looks way worse than it actually is. If you’re just remediating something because it looks bad, you could be wasting your money. #3: You don’t know what’s the highest priority. Some mold problems are worse than others, but you’d have no way of knowing which area of your house is causing the most issues without an inspection.
