#135 Luc Stevens over diversiteit in ons onderwijs

In deze aflevering is Luc Stevens te gast. Scholen met een duidelijk onderwijsconcept én waar persoonsvorming belangrijk wordt gevonden groeien. De populatie op deze scholen is echter niet altijd een afspiegeling van de buurt of de samenleving. Diversiteit is een veel gehoord verlangen. Maar wat vraagt diversiteit eigenlijk van ons als leerkracht, van ons als school of van ons als bestuur? En wat brengt diversiteit eigenlijk? Samen met Wouter Modderkolk doe ik onderzoek naar diversiteit en inclusie binnen het vrijeschoolonderwijs, vandaar dat we soms door de bril van de vrijeschool naar dit maatschappelijke vraagstuk kijken. Dit onderzoek gaat verder dan enkel vrijscholen: het gaat over maatschappelijke vraagstukken. Maar interessanter is wellicht: Wat kun jij hiervan leren?Luc Stevens is oud wetenschappelijk directeur van NIVOZ, het instituut dat hij in 2003 startte na zijn emeritaat als hoogleraar orthopedagogiek aan de Universiteit Utrecht.
