Since the beginning of 2020 swarms of these finger-long grasshopper-like insects have roamed across Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, and threaten India, Pakistan and Yemen. What is even more devastating are the droughts, floods and wars that these nations have been enduring in this decade. The economics alone will exceed billions.
