It seems that not only people who want to do business in Japanese, but also those who want to watch Japanese dramas and anime are motivating people to learn Japanese. Do you love watching Japanese dramas? Well, one of the reasons why I wanted to learn Japanese is because I became a fan of the popular, "Hana Yori Dango". Have you watched it already? Did you know that the title comes from the Japanese proverb "花より団子"? The drama uses 男子 (boys) instead of 団子 (Japanese dumplings) which can also be read as “dango”. This proverb literally means “dumplings over flowers”. In Japanese, this proverb expresses that practicality is more important than appearance.
