I'm checking on my doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo I'm checking it doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo... you checking it? You are now listening to U.K. and the world's favorite wrestling podcast RTM Wrestling with your host Andy and Emma Wessers So..what would you..

if you were to.. gotta do it not that way go though because we can't do one at the moment No that's true What would you call an UWW only podcast? don't know see I wouldn't want to put a Elite in there because obviously there's loads of people who have done the podcast with Elite in it so it's a bit like the leader of water Berk house Yeah, I do. I do.

I do. I do, I do, I do. I do. I did it even fucking twig.

That was that good. Oh, shut up, not going to be very cool. Oh, God. Almighty.

Jesus, wet. All the way through it. Yeah. Pleased to let's do it in this office.

It's going to start scrolling. Yeah, if you're fucked up, it'll just, it'll just, it'll just, it'll just, hold it, hold the middle though. Just press it once. Oh, yeah.

Then down. Okay. Far right. Oh, that's an enough.

Yeah, yeah, so, sort of, sort of that noise in the background. And to rest mode. I've only just got used to that nuclear sliver, kind of interface as always. Madness.

Anyway. I don't know what I was talking about. What's the other name that you would call it? I'm going to go back to the break, do you guys?

That's a good point. That's the thing when you just turn the mic on. Oh. This is a bonus.

AW bonus. This is how I know we will never get any new listeners because anyone tuning into this for the first time will be like, what is this shit? Just talk about wrestling. Just get the fuck out of my mind.

No, I don't agree. I don't care either. The old thing, if you go back and listen to like an old one and it's like music and hello. Oh, yeah.

Hello, everyone. Hello, everyone. Yeah, all very, very polished. I don't know.

I don't know what I call that. I saw something from JR actually this week where he did it. I think he was on Bob Holly. I had called Holly's podcast when he was going on about every sort of AW show now where he introduces with it's Wednesday, you know what that means.

Oh, yeah. And I think it's great. But he's had loads of backlash. Again, he's one of them things where he's like, of course he's had loads of backlash.

Like if somebody fucking believes in the wrestling industry they're going to get loads of backlash. But he said most of it is just people being dickheads. But one person said, I think it's really good that you're doing this but it does make me sad every time. Oh my god.

And it's supposed to be something nice. But I really like that it's Wednesday, you know what that means. Yeah, me too. I think it's great.

Because if he keeps doing it every week in a year's time most of these fucking marks will have forgotten what it's for. And we'll just think it's a JR thing. Yeah, I agree. How are you doing?

I'm okay. You know, it's boring to it. Yeah. It's really good.

I've had a couple of weeks off, which has been needed. Yeah, we've still been watching stuff though. We've still been talking about wrestling and things. I think it's just like the weeks just whizzed by.

It's like the days along the weeks are short. Yeah, definitely. If you know what it makes it so fucking boring in it. It's locked down on three.

I can't be purded anymore trying to be positive about it. And you're like, well, you know, things could be worse. No, that shit. I mean, so, and it's one of them.

I think we've we've done quite well up until this point. I think the last sort of two weeks has been, oh fuck, we're still in this and we've been a bit. It's bad. It's bad.

It's bad when I'm like that the mass singer is the highlight of my week. I mean, it finishes. I'm really depressed because I'm like shit. It's finishing next week.

I don't know how I'm going to cope with the knot. I've never thought I'd say this or sat down and take away without the buckle staff. I can't get into that shit. Really?

No, I just can't. I like them. I didn't think I'd be into it. I'm a celebrity.

But this year I actually was. Well, maybe, maybe. I mean, it depends. If we're staying in lockdown, they did say, didn't they?

They were thinking of trying to open, pops being open in May for takeaway. No, a takeaway for takeaway. And then May, probably, is what they're saying. Didn't you say that they were thinking about opening pops, but they're not allowed to serve after?

Yeah, that was floated, I think. And that's why that person said you might as well open the cinemas and not show them. It's like, you come and sit down, guys. We're not going to show you any films.

We don't want you gathering on mass. Come and spend 20 quid on confectionery for no fucking reason. It's just a bit of a shitter in it. I think it's nice to be in February though.

The light of night is starting to happen. Yeah, definitely. It just feels a little bit different. I smelt for the first time in the day, even though it's set to snow again.

Really, really, and snore this. Well, you know what we are on though, February time. We're on the road to WrestleMania. Yay!

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to RCM Wrestling Episode 136. How are you doing? I hope you're all well. I hope you're not as depressed as we are in lockdown.

I'm sure everybody is. But the whole, so the acting thing, right? I'm sorry. No, I'm going to tie it in because it's entertainment.

So I think that today's the name of the show should be that's entertainment. Okay, yeah. Because there's a couple of different things we're going to go over. We're going to go over what we've watched.

We're going to go over an article that you saw, which at my whole argument, you know, four and against this, based on entertainment. And then if we pull out a room I want, then we will do. So I don't have any tweet or anything like that. It's just a blind lunchtime episode.

So hopefully you've all got something. So I'm going to be stonk off the whole way through this one. The first time in probably a really long time. Yeah.

So I might start to sort of really. No, I don't think you will. I think that might be the way it goes anyway. I did see a tweet from Chris Horricks.

Right. When he talked about the Stenders theme tune. Right. No, I didn't.

So the Stenders theme tune. You know, we always set the person to do the bill daily. Everybody's going to be like, you know, I'm going to be a great guy. Yeah.

Well, I guess Horricks when he talks about the Stenders theme tune. Right. Did you see this? No, I didn't see the film.

So the Stenders theme tune. You know, we always set the person to do the bill daily. Everybody's going to die. Well, Eastenders theme tune actually does have lyrics, and it's sang by Enita Dobson.

And it's like, we are all going to fall in love. It's awful. It's actually got lyrics. It's actually got lyrics.

Yeah. So we hear the instrumental version for the. Well, we don't, but people who watched that magazine. Yeah.

I'm going to be watching. I used to watch East Tennessee with big funny noises. Yeah. I've never other than WWE.

I've never watched a soap opera. He's the Corrios kid. He send us as a student. I went home and away as well.

I used to watch home and away. None of the others. They could all go and eat. I watched Holly Oaks through it.

It was Holly Oaks the other one. No, I didn't watch Holly Oaks. That was weird. It was an actual holiday.

It was a holiday. That was war and sex in it. It was mad. They'd always be going to some sort of on some trip to Manchester for a night out.

He was like some debauched. I said it sounds like a bit. It sounds like a bit. But it sounds like a bit.

But Chris said, imagine if what lyrics would you put to wrestling, restless theme tunes, that don't already have lyrics. I mean, I'm not going to come up with any on the spot. I just think it's a really funny thought. Rock, he's a big man.

He thinks this is real. He works part-time. He's. That's actually pretty good.

But I think it's something, but it's very difficult because I started thinking about John Cena as well as immorising the system. I was like, can't I get away from John Cena's socks? Yeah, that's already gone. You can't put anything else in there because you're so used to hearing.

And then he's got his own lyrics. I think the only thing you could come up with is just taking the piss. Like, you couldn't actually put like proper lyrics to it. Well, anyway, I think I think that Brock Lesm examples be a little bit.

He's a big man. He's a big man. He works part-time. He shoots himself with steroids.

He loves them stents. He loves them stents. Watch out. He's a bit angry.

Watch out. He's had his shot. Here comes Paul Heyman. Oh no.

What's he going to say? Gonna say, have you taken your stents? Rocks? Gonna say no.

Paul, it's going to get angry. You're not taking your job seriously? Oh god, I know that's really stupid, but it honestly occupied my brain for far too long. Because I was trying to think.

I think if you were to some Chris Horrocks up in a nutshell, occupying your brain for far too long is probably- Yeah, just like giving them ideas and you're like, he has a really good point Chris. On the face of it, he's like, what are you talking about mate? He should present you, I. Yeah.

But you're like, oh actually. Yeah, but yeah, it really started then I was like, right, what's the rock? No, don't bother. I'm drawing a line under the lyric writing for Essen's own.

So thanks for that, Chris. It really made me day. We watched the Royal Rumble. We did.

Not only did we watch the Royal Rumble, but you also got the WWE Network again. Listen, as I've said in the past, I am a hypocrite. I will always say something and then I'll go back on it later. I'm proud of that.

I'm very proud of that. Yeah, yeah. I mean, we said we said we're going to do it leading up to this anyway. So that's kind of obviously we'll talk about Royal Rumble first, I think, but I've been going back and watching old Royal Rumbles and that kind of stuff.

Just because it was a pain in the ass trying to fucking find a stream and it's just like, I'll just pay for it. It's all WrestleMania that comes all the fun again. So what, you know, we don't want to go. I mean, I know we don't really do that anymore, but you want to go through it much by much.

Do you want to like just pull out a few? I think it would be helpful to be reminded of the matches. It's not until you have a seizure. I genuinely can't remember that much.

That was last week, right? Last Sunday. Yeah. Yes.

My dear. That was last Sunday. Royal Rumble. Let me see if I can get an old card where it says who beat who and all that shit.

So I think if we'd have done this last week, it might have been a bit more positive. The 24 hour test is necessary, I think though. Yeah, but even 24 hour test, like I probably would have reviewed it a lot more favourable last week than I do now. So you feel different?

You quite buzzed that. Yeah, I mean, but a buzz is a strong word. I enjoyed myself when I was watching it. So women, I'm not going to fucking, I don't think we should go for it in detail.

Do you fucking get it? Women's tag team title match, Nigel Jackson, Basil of East Shell, Rick Flair is getting involved. What the fuck's going on there? It's just another instance where they have to trot Rick Flair out.

But I'll tell you what, he's looking miles better. Yeah, he actually looks like Mel. Maybe he is. Maybe he is with like, he's engaged in back sent years.

WWE Championship match, McIntyre Goldberg was what he was. Smackdown Women's Championship, Sasha Banks Carmella was what he was. Women's Royal Rumble match. So Bianca Belair wins.

Yeah. She was the odds on favourite going in. So only the second black athlete to ever win the Royal Rumble, which is insane in itself. But yeah, I thought that was definitely deserved.

I enjoyed the match. The trotting out of really old stars was fine. But I don't know. I don't quite know.

Because the thing is, I've been burnt before, you know, I'm not saying like. I'm not saying that I have too that much stock invested in Bianca Belair because I don't, I can't care less. So I can't care less about WWE in general still, even after enjoying the show. But you know, like Nakamura Warren didn't really get anything.

So is she gonna get anything? That's the question. Well, there's talk. I don't know.

It's speculation. The speculation that potentially her and Sasha Banks headline the first night of WrestleMania. I will tell you right now, if that happens, I'll eat my own shit. No, I'm obviously not.

Don't record that. There's no way Sasha Banks is going to headline the WrestleMania night. Absolutely not. Why?

I don't know. I mean, I, I don't know because obviously that's speculation. But because I'm so out of it, I don't, I can't get a gauge on where the women are at, at the moment, in terms of who is the standout star, if that makes sense. Because it was quite obvious like last time, you know, Becky Lynch and Charlotte.

Well, obviously Charlotte is now like involved in this odd thing, which is kind of involved in a bit of a mid-card. Yeah, singles, Mark. Shit, shit, really. And then I can't really gauge who's the most popular woman right now.

And I know, you know, who could potentially have the biggest spot at WrestleMania. Is it really, is it Sasha, is it maybe it is Charlotte? Like, is it Bianca Belair? Is she like the one everyone's like looks at the moment, super, super popular?

I just can't get a feel of like a top woman. I mean, if, if Sasha Banks was in the mix to headline a WrestleMania night, she went against Carmella on this show, which was a shit show, you know, it was awful. Like, you know, so if that's, if that's the leap to headline in a night, you know, I, again, I fucking, it's beyond me. Absolutely beyond me.

I mean, Bianca Belair against Sasha Banks with Bianca winning maybe, but I just don't think the, I mean, again, I've not been watching it. It's what I can't really say. It's, it's tough to have as well. Taking it as a snapshot of the Royal Rumble, it seems like Sasha Banks is very low down on their radar as far as like, even though she's got a bell more, more shit went into the, the kickoff show tag team match, you know, it's just, I think I liked the women's rumble.

I thought it was funny. What really came was the standout. Brilliant. I like what they're doing.

I think she is just comedy, comedy, she's comedy golden, she's just so like, you say she had a thing with the, with the riot squad where she came out, she's a couple of that where she pretends to be part of the riot squad and it's dead cringe. She's like, dressing like, trying to dress herself like, and the most staring at her like, she's insane. But you know, I like that. I did like the comedy elements.

Again, though, the 24 hour title interrupts in it. It's like, fuck me. Can you, can we not just have, it, just there have to be a shlong involved in like every single women's match or like, they're, you know, like the Royal Rumble, I'm winning the bank or like James Ellsworth was like first one. Do you know what I mean?

So you can't, can't not have a dude in there. And the days of like women being involved in the men's matches, it's quite rare to see that on WWE. Now used to be, it was obviously a big thing. Like back in the day, it'd always be like women there like ballet around the side, but it doesn't tend to happen that much anymore.

So, you know, as in like in the main pictures, there's no like women, there was no women coming out and to my knowledge on the men's one and some costing somebody, I don't know, Jackson's walked out for some probably talky shit, but you know, like, it's not as regular as it was. The only one you can say is like, it's just this odd sort of like having the field needs to be able to make it exciting enough, an entire title has to change haven't it? Well, to start with, I thought, I thought it, I thought it, it started it quite well, because Alicia Fox won it. And I thought like, oh, the shit, like, just so all the guys can fuck off now.

And the women can change your own. So like the women, eventually, you know, I know this 24 seven title is like the shittiest thing. Do you feel like it's a punch line that's just running its course? Because it's been like, it's feels like a punch line of a joke, and they're treating it as such.

But they've been doing it for ages. It's like trying to mix it up a bit, do something a bit different. It's like going to seem piqueing in live at least trying out garlic bread. Exactly.

But like, I understand why they're doing it, because there's been like, when I was looking through like news for like the first time in weeks, you know, the reason the drag sheet side that I go on lists, like lists as a news story when the 24 seven title changes hands. So it's like every five fucking notes is like X and I fell star wins at 24 seven times. So I understand that side of it, because we're using it as a bit of a PR kind of thing where, you know, our truth can turn up at an event like NASCAR or whatever the wants to do. And then one of the drivers gets a pin on him.

Yeah. And it's like, holy shit, you know, this. Yeah. So it's interesting.

So that side of it's fine, but just don't put it on the show. It doesn't need to be on the show for computer Rosenberg like rolled up. After he fintock it at one point. So I think I true sad about 100 times.

It's like the 100 time champion or some shit. So yeah, there was only two disappointments of the women's royal rumble for me. One was the 24 seven title inclusion, because it's a complete waste of time. And to me, it says that people weren't asked enough about the women's royal rumble.

So you have to add something to it. And the other one is the only interesting thing I've seen on WWE TV via YouTube in a long time, gets eliminated straight a fucking way. Oh, yeah. And that's alex of bliss.

It was bizarre that. Yeah. I just don't. Could you told me what was going on?

Because I was like, man, and then we watched it on YouTube. And we watched like the decent kind of, you know, because the highlights that they showed officially with shit. So we watched like the actual segments like from the last few weeks sort of play out. And it's like, right, that's the most interesting thing they've done in ages.

So her music can go off and she can come back. And it's like, oh, shit, so she's trapped. Yeah, this isn't a persona. The last time they did it, when she like last week after, um, watch it after rumble, she came back in her old persona and didn't add like, she's trapped.

She's like, hey, I'm back. So I think I was like, oh, you completely. Yeah, yeah. And then it's like she actually had control of it sort of thing.

So it's a bit like, okay. This was this Monday. Yeah, I think so. Yeah.

She came back and was just like, like smiling and just being her old self again and then went back into it. I think it was against Nikki Cross again. Um, and I was a bit like, oh, I thought you, I thought you were in Sydney where she was trapped and it was her old self trying to get out. And now it seems to be like she's just, she can just flip back and forth and she's doing it on purpose.

I don't know. But it lost a little bit of its steam. Because I was like, it's more interesting she's trying to claw her way back out. Yeah.

Like the face on your hands then when she comes back if you want to. Because that's, because I do it was brilliant when you were saying to me, she was like crying in it asking for help. And then suddenly the lights go off and then she's, there's like three personas. There's a lot like the fiends got to.

She's got three. She's got original bliss. Firefly, funnels, laughing, mahaha, manic, Harley Quinn-esque. Yeah.

And then the fiend version. Yeah. You know, that's brilliant. And now they've gone back and they've said, basically insinuates you can control all three.

It like looks like that. She didn't, she came back as her old self and she was like smiling, oh, it's me, it's me, Nikki. And you know, to try and trick her and I was like, okay, that's kind of makes it, it's maybe it was a trick. Maybe it was a trick, maybe.

But, but yeah, I do, I do really like what they're doing. I think a lot of people do as well. It seems to be going over pretty well. I think it's one of them where it's like, which gets eliminated for the run straight away.

I don't, I should have put her in. Shouldn't have even been an entering. Well, we were thinking at the time, like, oh, the reason why she's been throwing out so quick, because the fiend will come back in the men's one and she'll do something there to water, no, because water's out of second or first or whatever. Second.

Um, yeah, I don't know. That's, that's the problem. I think at the time you think, oh, this is quite interesting. And then when you're having some time to think about it, it's like, yeah, maybe it's not.

Maybe it's not. Are we reading a little bit too much into it and giving a bit too much credit? Yeah. Well, the next match was the universal title that really enjoyed this, even though they kind of botched the ending a little bit.

Um, so Reigns, you know, obviously keeps, keeps the title, but Owens keeps his sort of integrity intact. They want no clean win. That was really interesting ending for me, sort of handcuffed to the thing, knocks the referee out, but then because they can't get the fucking handcoals off, that kind of makes it move because he, he just got up on to his feet anyway. Um, so I enjoyed that side of it.

Yeah, no idea. I, I, enjoyed this much more than I thought I was going to mention because you knew exactly what was going to happen. You knew it was going to win. So it's just a case of, okay, what story are you going to tell?

Are we going to get to this reign to win? Because Owens was never going to win that. So I did. I'm surprised he protected Owens as much as he did with it.

Yes. Yeah, it was, it was good. It was, I think about my room 101. Cool.

I think it's in the head. So I'm not going to say anymore. I'm not fair enough. I'm off.

Handcoast that. They don't have the key for a job. It's, it's, it's bigger than that. Okay.

So men's role on them. Edge goes belt to male, which was to Matt, because I remember saying to like it genuinely shocked me because that ending sequence was really good. So like, yeah, Orton kind of comes back in. Yeah.

So like edge, I can't remember who the person was. It was the last couple of people. So like edge eliminates like two people, then Orton comes back in and then he eliminates Orton like straight away was like really shocking. I didn't think they would have gone with edge.

So I think, yeah, I think, I think, I think, so far, he was the odds on favorite going into it. I don't even think edge was like in the top five, as far as like betting. So anybody who bet on edge to win, I think got a decent payout. Um, yeah, that side of it was great.

Like I really, I really enjoyed it at the time now because of all the, you know, edges turned up on NXT. Who's he going to go against? It's all a bit like we know he's going to go against Reigns at WrestleMania. It's going to be edge Reigns and all the more cost edge so Reigns can retain.

There you go. Right itself. Unfortunately for the 20 writers for this particular match, like alone the other 50, you know, it does look like for them right. So I'm sure that's not how it's going to go.

But that's how I think it's going to go. Um, if edge beat Reigns at WrestleMania, that'll be huge. Like I'd be like, that's fucking amazing. Um, so what's a little bit worried with the whole NXT thing, you know, with him turning up on NXT is like always edge just going to go against like, because obviously because I've got two nights, there's going to be loads of NXT matches.

Um, the one edge to go against Finn Balor, which would be great itself and I would really enjoy that. But yeah, it's one of them where it's like, well, yeah, well, okay. I know. Well, yeah, I was, I was quite underwhelmed by the men's Royal Rumble because I was expecting a bit more, you know, a bit more by the way, I just wanted the fiends to come back.

Yeah. Like, and I was fully expecting it. Then when he didn't, I was like, Oh, fuck sake, we don't really give a shit who wins because they're all just standard, well, I'll just stand with people in there now. You'd sort of expect to win.

So yeah, I wasn't really, I'm glad it wasn't Randy Orton because I think that would have been such a damn pending. If, if Orton wouldn't, I would have been like, why? I know, so boring. Like, why the fuck?

But you know, it's one of them where you can only do what you can do, but like, edge for me when it was a shock. Because I don't think they've done a belt of belt since Michaels. I thought, when was the last time that happened? Or maybe Austin, you can kind of class as that, even though he went out of it for ages.

Don't you mind not first in? I'll last out. No, I don't think so. I thought maybe, maybe, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, who knows.

Yeah, foot miles. I don't know. I don't know. No idea.

No idea. You, is that, you obviously were going to talk heavily about WWE for the rest of the show, but you've done for a while or more? Yeah, it was fine though. I didn't hate it.

I didn't love it. It was just fine. I enjoyed myself. Yeah.

I do enjoy a Royal Rumble match. Yeah, I'm very sorry. It is. So.

So. AW. That's not what I've been about last week's because, you know, reviewing sort of shows back to back. We had Beach Break.

So, is it Beach Break 91? So, Night 2 is this week. Is this week? Oh, next week, whatever.

Where the fuck you can, you can kind of say. I think at the moment, AW were knocking out the park. It was a great show last week. I fucking loved it.

I thought the show from the top to bottom was just fucking brilliant. You had the tag team battle royal to start with, which was great. Good brothers getting involved, costing the young books to some degree. So Wardlow and fucking MJF won.

Is this this week? Yeah, yeah, because this week's Britt Baker against the Rose. Jericho, Andrew. That's what's sort of- Oh yeah, Wardlow was knocking about, won't it?

Just like his fair heart. With his eyebrows. Overgreed. I'm trying to find the wedding.

Was hilarious in itself. I saw a thing on the news, things of Joey Janella, like watching Max Nature, sending to cry. I'm just quiet for me. Lance Archer, Eddie Kingston, Lumberjack, March, brilliant.

Fucking, and then the main event. So, the main event, March itself, it was just fucking ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. So, good brothers and omega against Moxley, Pack and Phoenix.

Phoenix is ridiculous. Like, he's just so entertaining. Because we were kind of saying like, you know, omega and the young books against Deaf Triangle would be absolutely daft for like a paper that you saw much. And then of course at the end, we get Kenza turning up and hitting the CM Punk move.

Everybody, didn't you see that? He used CM Punk's old move. I forgot. Surely people aren't still saying that.

I bet they do. I bet you any money. That's the reason why I didn't look at it. It was like a bet.

Everyone's like, oh, that's a good, it's neat. Yeah. Yeah. It's a fucking ghostly.

So that kind of events, the AW, New Japan rivalry that we've been talking about, the whole women's title tournament that's coming up. So apparently, she does Gonsa, Japan, Super Juice, some of the matches, which is great in itself, because that'll give her experience doing that. So, there is going to be like Japanese, in Japan matches for it, which is top all for that. It was just fucking men.

It was great. It was really great. And I kept saying to you in that main event, before Kenter turned up, like, I can't believe we're watching these people wrestle each other, like in what world? It's like being completely spoiled in it sometimes.

It's just, it is a fantastic show. It's a really great show. And they do need more. They do need another show.

I worry that I don't like the idea of them watering anything down. But I do agree that they've got to the point now where they do need a second show, a proper one. Yeah. That's where I'm at, because if they're going to start like, because I think next week it's on Aager and Kenter against Moxley and Lance Archer, which is it again, it's just fucking stupid.

But I've looked at like the New Japan kind of link up and apparently at the moment, it's just because Moxley has the the IWGP US title. So he can turn up on New Japan shows, Kenter can turn up on AEW shows. And at the moment, that's as far as the relationship goes. But it'd be stupid not to fucking do my show.

I know. It's just old. It really is like, I've really enjoyed it. I was popping out of shoes for all sorts of shit.

And then we won caveat, which I said to you at the time, and this is like a really stupid little note is he shouldn't have got to sleep before he revealed himself, because that would have been like big. But you can't have everything. But everything about it all over the moment, if I was them, obviously for Revolution, I'm Aager's going to have a title match probably against Moxley. But if it was me, I would put Kenter Moxley on Revolution.

And I think there's only one match announced for it. And that's Sting and Darby against Team Taz in a street fight. I'm really looking forward to Revolution. I think it's going to talk.

I think I don't think it's that far away. This month, isn't it? Yeah. Mark Jeth.

I thought it was February. Mark Jeth is a revolution. That's a Monday. Is it?

Yeah. Well, it's one in the morning. Oh, yeah. Yes, it is.

My birthday on March late. That's how I know the day. Happy birthday. Who's like really?

Straight away. Oh, July. It might be a Tuesday. July the 14th.

I really said July like the 33rd, then that was bad. That would be really bad. Yeah. So I'm really looking forward to that card because it'll be it'll just be another fucking when you just do like four pay per views a year and you just sprinkle in these beach breaks and fight for the fall and all that kind of stuff is top.

And even with Edge on NXT, they absolutely smashed him again. I'm sorry, I'm interested in being from Bischoff actually saying that because obviously AEW were very happy that they'd be in NXT and they keep publicizing that they'll be in a WWE show. And Bischoff was like, AEW need to start becoming a little bit more respectful of the fact that they're only being a C brand. I was like, well, you know, part of me agrees.

And the other half of me is they put fucking NXT on TV to try and stop them from getting loads of viewers. So that's true. I know. It's hard.

It's a brand new promotion. So yeah, they're gonna it's gonna it's gonna take a bit of time before the start getting to like Raw level and Raw is losing viewers handle with this anyway. Well, Smite Balms have been shown now. It's not Raw's nowhere even near.

Like the last time I mean, it was ages ago when I lost but the last time I looked at the ratings for him, it was like SmackDown was like 2-2, which is brilliant in this day and age. It's really good. Whereas Raw was like 1-6. So it's that's a massive sort of drop.

It's been shit for a long time. Yeah. So that's kind of the rundowns of what we've watched this week. So do you want to get into your article?

Let me find it on my telephone. Maybe quite sleepy that piece, you know? Yeah, me too. I think when you have pizza for breakfast, it's pizza all the way.

Hashtag pizza right. It's the way forward. It's really nice. Sorry, I'm just finding it.

Wait, I'm just making me very sleepy a bit off me getting it. Yeah, I feel a little bit off me getting as well. Yeah. I think we need to be pissed to do this, is that there?

I think it helps. That's what else going on. Okay, so no DQ.com. Someone called us, some people maybe aware, someone called Mr.

Tito. And the reason I say that people might be aware of Mr. Tito, it may be a famous person and I just don't know who he is but like there's apparently Mr. Tito merch.

So this person's been going expressing their opinions for a while. So he wrote a piece called Triple H's incompetence helped Edge win Rumble. Well, he's not sitting on a fence, is he? So I'm going to just read a little bit.

I'm not going to read a bit about the fucking women's division. I just can't bring yourself to say words but this guy sounds like a prick. Yeah, but I think it's I think it's interesting to look at this perspective because clearly people share this perspective too. WWE talent and developmental Triple H has been terrible at scouting and signing the right talent while the performance center.

What the fuck? So you can't write either. While the performance center under Triple H's handpicked male trainer Matt Bloom has not been preparing male wrestlers properly. Since Triple H took over the talent relation spot during mid-2012, the lack of talent signed and then groomed to be main event talented to Paul in.

Worse yet, nobody in NXT is being trained to remove bad habits such as trying risky spots during matches. Triple H seems to have a fetish with signing guys that should actually be appearing on the 205 on 205 light to fight over the Cruiserweight title. The fact of the matter is that WWE has capital letters to bring back older stars like Bill Goldberg and Edge and push them to the main event position because the rest of the WWE roster has failed them. Let's go through them.

So he's going to go through them. Sephirol is already won the world title four times. Bronze Roman won the universal title over Goldberg last year. Nobody cared.

Randy Orton, 14-time world champion. It was just a champion a few months ago. Jeff Hardy, four-time, Dolph Ziggler, two-time, Miz, champion before it's been a rough road since. Daniel Bryan, love the guy, but five-time champion, shameless four-time champion, Kane, two-time champion, four-time mayor, AJ Styles and many champion ships.

What else is left to accomplish? Sami Zayn, the staff are Ali, shouldn't Skanakamorex, Xavier Woods, John Morrison, Ricochet Elias, Kincarbon, Otis and Rey Mysterio have all peaked. They would have to change something significantly or grow a few inches, gain a few pounds. Wow, this is bad for us.

This is not a good thing. It goes like he says about Matt Riddle in a lawsuit so he can do nothing with him. It was nice, Damian, pre-sid Damian, pre-sid Damian, pre-sid Damian, pre-sid Damian, but he belongs to an NXT show that draws 700,000 viewers on its best day. And we can look at the rest of the paid for you, Kevin Owens has had more than opportunities to be the top guy.

He's basically the modern day Mick Foley, with his willingness to take major bumps. And he goes on and on and on. I can't leave it there because it's getting me back up that big time. But he goes through the reviews, the men, the Triple H has called up his potential main event guys and then just he's too big for every two of us.

Let's stop at that because I think the guy's a prick. He's been a prick for the sake of it. He's a Jim Cornet. The issue is I've asked you this question before we came on air and completely got it wrong.

So I missed one major person. What do you mean? So if you say it's yourself, as far as WWE's concerned, and they create a developmental system. And let's say at the very start of you think it's yourself, okay, this developmental system is going to be great.

It's going to be like a third brand. It's going to make us some money. It's going to make us some wrestlers. It's got some talented, and it was only last year, maybe the year before, I was saying like a WrestleMania card was stacked with people from NXT.

So the whole show had an NXT kind of stump on nearly every match. No. When you first start that, and I've completely changed my tune on this on the fly, because I said to you, how many people from NXT have headlined WrestleMania? I feel like I know you've missed.

When you start something like that, you can see Vince saying, well, if it produces one guy, or one woman, let's assume that he was that liberal, because he probably wasn't. If we produce one person through NXT, it's a headline WrestleMania, it's done well. So we were ever missed. Roman Reigns.

100%. Like this person's argument is so shit, I can't even begin to pick it apart. Because my right, I don't like WWE at the moment. I think it's crap.

I think it's boring. I think they're doing the same things, but I've relatively enjoyed Royal Rumble, so I can go ahead and say that. The treatment of Shinsuke Nakamura has been nothing but sobbing, juicing for me, that not everybody can have a spot on the show, that's just the way it goes. But if you were to say, the only thing Triple H did was bring through Roman Reigns.

Let's count them, shall we? How many main events Roman Reigns has had? And what we're not talking about fucking main events second to last match. We're talking WrestleMania 31, 2015, Roman Reigns, where Cefralines came out against Brock Lesnar, WrestleMania 32, Triple H against Roman Reigns, WrestleMania 33, Roman Reigns against The Undertaker, WrestleMania 34, Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar, WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, WrestleMania 36, Night One, AJ Styles against The Undertaker Fair enough, Night Two, McIntyre Brock Lesnar.

Now, McIntyre are kind of disregarded because he's been there before, but however, he was brought back to NXT. So this person's argument is so wrong that the person shouldn't be mentioned again. And to be that harsh about all these people, like, could you look at Kevin Owens, and you think, is he ever gonna be a main event guy? No, he's not.

He's not gonna be a main event guy, consistently like Roman Reigns, because there's a lot of things that go into it, where he doesn't have. Because my whole argument is, I've kind of switched. And I'll pass it back to you in a second. Was- What's the water while you talking for the moment?

Yeah, no, go for it. You need another kind of thing. No, no, I've got full one now, just open. I'm just saying that, has Triple H create a star is what I've basically put on there.

Yeah, it's not down to Triple H. My first thought was, well, when they get called up from NXT, it's not up to Triple H anymore. Because when we were starting NXT London, and Sami Zayn returned, and you had Enzo and Big Cass on the show, and you had Finn Balor coming out as Jack the fucking Ripper against Samoa Joe and GamePox out the building, and then Sami Zayn comes out, and he gets like an Austin pop, and everyone's singing on to his music. Would you have said that that Triple H hasn't created any stars?

I would like to have seen his review of NXT London, if he was even going at that point. Well, quite conveniently, and either that one or the other one that he wrote, anyone who's of note that's come through, he says that was looking to Triple H, and that someone else recruited them, and the people who took Triple H have recruited. Who took Triple H to actually recruit it? It's William Regal.

Yeah, I don't know. Triple H doesn't recruit anyone. Regal goes out and scouts. It doesn't have a fucking...

The writing is fucking wild. The shitty says it's crazy. It's easy to dog pile on some people. It's easy for the women's division.

It's really easy to get stars for women's division, because they're all ex-professional sports people who don't have a career anymore, and all that shit. Pretty much what you said. But you said about the men as well. Yeah, it's not just the women who are like...

It's not easy that, though. Ex-ex-something and become something else. It's not easy, though, because when you think about like women's wrestling, and we've watched a lot of women's wrestling over the years, what is the greatest women's wrestling match of all time? Bailey, Sasha, NXT Brooklyn.

Without a doubt. If anybody has got for me, a better female wrestling match than that. As far as everything. Like I'm not talking standard, quality.

I'm talking crowd participation. I'm talking the story leading into it. Of Bailey being the one who never wins. And then you could argue number two is the Iron Woman match.

Like straight fucking after it, you can argue where Sasha's slapping the glasses off of a 10 year old girl's head to make a cry. You can argue that they're the two best women's matches of all time. Because for me, the WrestleMania main event didn't live up to the hype. Because they didn't do enough spots to get the crowd riled up.

There was a lot of missteps and that kind of stuff. The perfect storm of that reverse horrocorana from the top rope, she gets up, pulls her hair, Bailey to belly. The crowd were going ballistic. And that's what you've got to look at.

Because I can say, till I'm blue in the face, that AEW has got the best wrestling show. Because it has. But people are not asked. Like as sad as it is, people aren't asked about that fast, quick spot, you know, loads of spots in the space of 30 seconds thing.

Like people are not that bothered. I love it. I think it's great. I think it's really entertaining.
