137 - He Loved Them In Spite Of Them
from Gospel Saving Church · host Ed Spagnoli
Overview: He Loved Them In Spite Of Them. Matthew 23:37-39. After Jesus gets done chastising these religious leaders for their hypocrisy, He shows us His amazing grace and love for these guys and all of Israel that was in rebellion against God by giving a little (but powerful) speech that proves He loved them in spite of all of their evil ways and sinfulness. But God’s love for the Jews is not limited to the Jews only, as Jesus states in John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Which means that God loves all of us, in spite of us. Does His love for us automatically put us into a right standing before Him and saved from our sins? Many believe so, but is it true? Come find out what the Bible says on this issue, and others as well. May God bless you as you seek His face. Pastor Ed
