Sophie Green is an award-winning conservation & wildlife artist from the UK, who specialises in capturing the photorealistic details of animals and their surroundings. Sophie has dedicated her time and artistic work to raising awareness for issues surrounding animal welfare and the environment. She worked closely with foundations such as IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) and Explorers Against Extinction (The Real World Conservation Trust) and was the winner of the Leisure Painter People's Choice Award 2020 and was shortlisted for prizes such as the Sketch for Survival Award, the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year competition and the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize. She talks to Jim and Giles about working in the movie industry as a body double, making the leap from full-time work to freelance and her passion for conservation.
