Early Breast Cancer had one of its defining moments in the 1990s, when five years of adjuvant tamoxifen reduced the recurrence risk of invasive breast cancer by 49%! These days, those types of improvements are much harder to substantiate with the effect treatments currently on the market, but there is promise. This week, on our Back to Basics episode, Michael and Josh look at the role of abemaciclib and ribociclib in the adjuvant setting in patients with high-risk early breast cancer.
