#138 | Crypta's Sonia Anubis

from Horns Up

Sonia Anubis is someone the metal world should be watching out for. A self taught guitarist and bassist, Sonia founded her own heavy rock band Cobra Spell in which she currently plays lead guitar, and together with Fernanda Lira and Luana Dametto, Sonia started death metal band CRYPTA to go back to her extreme roots on lead-guitar. On Horns Up, Animesh and Peter chat with Sonia about Crypta's debut full-length, Echoes Of The Soul, and really deep dive into music production, riffs, solos, and a lot of guitar nerdery. Shut Up I Love It Sasha Feiler and Joe Cabello Many years ago, Sasha Feiler and Joe Cabello met in line for an improv show. They were young, dumb, and full of it. What followed were comedy shows so explicit, “genitalia” was practically a term of endearment.Fast forward 5 dogs, 6 cats, and way too many weird inside jokes later, Sasha and Joe are no longer young or dumb—but they’re still brimming with you-know-what. Here, they’ve teamed up to bring you a podcast where they interview a guest who passionately defends something universally hated, misunderstood, forgotten, overlooked, Mandela-effected, canceled—you name it. The key? They LOVE it. From toupees... to B-movies... to aliens, psychedelics, and the occasional surprise character, Sasha and Joe are here to spread love to the world that birthed them (but maybe should’ve used protection). So come and get that love because no one else will give it to you like we do.Also, don’t forget to check out the Patreon Bonus version of the show:https://www.patreon.com/c/ShutUpILoveItP Explicit Running In Slow Motion with Sidney & Tamra Smith You Hear Good Things podcast network Comedian Sidney Smith and his wife Tamra — a sharp-witted educator with a soft spot for flowers — team up to navigate life, goals, and culture at their own hilarious, at times, in-depth pace. They call it “running in slow motion,” and that pretty much sums up the vibe. This isn’t a marriage podcast (their union ranks a generous 5 out of 10, after all), but it is a refreshingly honest, smart, and funny take on relationships, ambition, and everyday chaos. From real talk to pop culture and unexpected interviews, it’s a joyride of relatable moments and laugh-out-loud observations. Explicit Some People Suck Podcast Kodie Croll & Hylton Davis the boys talk give their take and share what's been going on in their world that week, as far as the culinary world, comedy, MMA, wrestling, whiskey, growing up differently, stories, documentaries, reality TV shows and sports entertainment and everything in between, basically just two best friends being young and dumb and sharing life with you guys.
