Chairman Ken Martin reportedly threw his phone at a junior aide's desk after chewing the staffer out, an incident that shook the aides who saw it and led to an HR inquiry, though Martin apologized the next business day. On top of that, deed records show the DNC put its own headquarters up as collateral for a $15 million loan, the largest off year loan in the party's history, while federal filings show the DNC sitting on about $16.3 million in cash against more than $18.5 million in debt.
