Tamara Taggart is an award-winning Canadian broadcasting icon. She has volunteered thousands of hours in the community, sat on the boards for several non-profit organizations, and advocated for the well-being of children and people with disabilities. In 2021, she started Down Syndrome BC, where she sits as the President. She is also the host of the TELUS Talks podcast. In 2015, she was awarded British Columbia’s highest honour, The Order of British Columbia. Tamara was previously featured on Episode #106 of This is VANCOLOUR and Episode #64 of This is VANCOLOUR, which garnered a feature in The Vancouver Sun.
