1386-Modular In Vivo Antibody-ADC Click Therapy
from Paper Talk
Researchers have developed a modular therapeutic platform called antibody-ADC click to overcome the limitations of traditional cancer treatments. By using bioorthogonal chemistry, clinicians can sequentially administer two different components that chemically bond directly inside the body to create a powerful, multi-targeted complex. This method significantly improves drug internalization and tumor uptake, especially in heterogeneous tumors where target proteins are unevenly distributed. Experimental results show that this approach effectively reverses drug resistance in models that were previously unresponsive to standard therapies. Furthermore, the strategy is highly flexible, allowing different antibody and drug combinations to be swapped to treat various cancer types without complex re-engineering. Ultimately, this technology offers a translatable solution for enhancing the precision and potency of targeted oncological delivery systems.References:Simó C, Vanover A C, D’Oliveira Albanus R, et al.
