# 139 No Fear: Power, Love, Self-Control

This basis for this Episode comes from 1 Timothy 1:6-7, "For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline [self-control]. These words were the last to be penned by the Apostle Paul to his spiritual son in the faith, Timothy; both men knew Paul was likely soon to die for his faith. Wow.
