Willem de Kok stond jarenlang aan het roer van Martiniplaza en gaf het een belangrijke plek in Groningen. Met enthousiasme en doorzettingsvermogen werkte hij aan talloze evenementen en bijzondere ontmoetingen. Zijn loopbaan werd gekenmerkt door betrokkenheid, visie en liefde voor het vak. Onder zijn leiding groeide Martiniplaza uit tot een bruisende locatie voor beurzen, concerten en congressen. Nu neemt hij afscheid als directeur en sluit hij een betekenisvol hoofdstuk af. Hij laat een organisatie achter die klaar is voor de toekomst en voortbouwt op zijn inzet. Met Bram Douwes kijkt hij terug op zijn carrière en begint hij aan een nieuw avontuur.
