畫說漢字/圖解《說文解字》/1000個漢字的故事/東漢許慎原著拜（bài）“拜”是个会意字，本义为表示恭敬的礼节。甲骨文的“拜”，左边是个“手”形，右边是个“页”字，“页”的本义就是人的头部，合起来的意思就是将手举到头部上方，再向前方下拜。小篆的“拜”，左右两边都是“手”形，表示拱手向前拜。后来的“拜”一般指的是下跪叩头，即两腿跪地，两手至地，然后叩头。“拜”也引申为拜见、感谢之义。（双手拱至额头，向前方深深一拜，表示感谢和礼节。）
