Brian Luftman can best be characterized as an entrepreneur. Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Brian moved to Chicago to pursue his dream of being a floor trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  He ended up buying a seat on the exchange and trading commodity options for 10 years.  During that time, he founded Luftrade, which specialized in cattle, corn, soybean and wheat options. While he still does invest in traditional real estate, in 2011, Luftman founded American Farm Investors in his hometown of Lexington, KY.
