#14 Claire Fox

Claire Fox is a British writer, and the head of the Institute of Ideas think tank. She was formerly the editor of LM magazine, and is a panellist on the BBC's "Moral Maze'. In this episode, Claire talks about her childhood, growing up with parents on both sides of the political spectrum. She talks about her time as a Trotskyist in university, and how her passion for free expression led her to found the Institute of Ideas, which holds its festival each year in London. She also talks about the nature of offence in free speech debates and our wider political discourse.
