When there’s a major event taking place in Northeast Ohio, David Gilbert is the man that helped bring it here. Arguably the most influential civic leader Cleveland has seen over the past 20 years, David simply gets stuff done. The busiest man in Cleveland, David serves as the President and CEO for not just one organization, but two! In 2000 he helped form the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and in 2011 he took over as the head of Destination Cleveland.  On this episode of Love in the Land, Austin sits down with David to discuss his career, his relentless love for Cleveland and his unfaltering efforts to improve the city.
