Waterboarding: Involves simulating drowning by pouring water over a cloth covering the victim's face, leading to a sensation of suffocation.13. Syrian Box Torture (Coffin Torture): Victims were placed inside a small, cramped metal or wooden cage, often shaped like a human form. The cage was then hung or suspended, and the victim would be left there for prolonged periods, often resulting in severe discomfort, suffocation, or death.12. White torture: This form of psychological torture focuses on sensory deprivation, isolation, and psychological manipulation. Victims are confined to a completely white room, with white lighting, white clothing, and minimal stimuli, aiming to induce disorientation, anxiety, and a loss of sense of time.11. Tiger Bench: The victim is made to sit on a long, narrow bench with their legs extended forward. Wooden planks or bricks are placed under their feet, and their ankles are tightly bound to prevent movement. Additional weights or pressure may be applied to increase the pain and discomfort.10. Tub Torture: The victim would be placed inside a wooden barrel or tub with their limbs folded and tightly bound. The tub would then be secured and rolled or rotated, causing the victim's body to be contorted and subjected to extreme discomfort and pain.9. The See-Saw of Death: Victims were hung upside down, and a large saw was used to cut them in half from the groin.8. The Four Horsemen: Severing the limbs at the joints by tying each arm and leg to a separate horse and pulling them apart in opposite directions.7. The Pear of Anguish: A pear-shaped instrument inserted into body cavities and then expanded, causing internal damage.6. Concrete Shoes (Chicago overcoat): Involved placing the victim's feet into buckets or containers filled with wet cement, then they'd be thrown into a body of water, such as a river or ocean, causing their demise.5. The Rack: A device designed to stretch the victim's body, dislocating joints and causing immense pain.4. The Heretic's Fork: A double-ended metal fork worn around the neck, with each end pointed upward. It was used to keep the victim awake and prevent them from speaking.3. The Iron Chair: A chair with spikes on the back, seat, and armrests, piercing the victim when seated.2. The Tucker Telephone: It was an electrical device consisting of a crank handle, a telephone receiver, and electrodes. The electrodes would be attached to the victim's body, usually in sensitive areas, and then an electric shock would be administered through the device.1. Crucifixion: A method of execution in which the victim would be nailed or tied to a wooden cross and left to hang until death.
