14. Interview with Kathy Whitestone

Συγκεκριμένα, μια συνέντευξη με την Kathy Whitestone, διαμεσολαβήτρια στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και διαχειρίστρια υποθέσεων στον Ανεξάρτητο Οργανισμό Διαμεσολάβησης του Brighton and Hove (BHIMS). Το BHIMS είναι ένας ανεξάρτητος κοινωφελής οργανισμός που προσφέρει υπηρεσίες επίλυσης διαφορών στην τοπική κοινωνία από το 1993 και αποτελείται από μια ομάδα 50 εθελοντών διαμεσολαβητών και 7 εργαζομένων μερικής απασχόλησης. Προσφέρουν υποστήριξη μέσω τηλεφώνου, κατ'οίκον επισκέψεων και κατ'ιδίαν συναντήσεων διαμεσολάβησης στα γραφεία του οργανισμού ή σε άλλες κοινοτικές αίθουσες. Το BHIMS εκπαιδεύει, επίσης, διαμεσολαβητές και προσφέρει εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα στον τρόπο προσέγγισης της επίλυσης διαφορών. Specifically, we have the pleasure to talk to Kathy Whitestone, Service Manager at Brighton and Hove Independent Mediation Service (BHIMS). BHIMS is an independent charity that has been offering conflict resolution services to the local community since 1993 and has a team of 50 trained volunteer mediators and 7 part time paid staff. They  provide support by telephone, home visits and face to face mediation meetings at their office or other community venues. BHIMS also trains mediators and provides education in approaches to conflict resolution.
