14 - Overcoming Resentment

from Chofetz Chaim Podcast · host R' Elchonon Kuritsky

At times when someone speaks Lashon Hara, he will transgress "hating your brother in your heart". This hatred has to be expressed because when someone is hated but unaware of it he is in a vulnerable state. Its a mitzva for the person who harbors hatred to communicate his issues in a respectful way. We must overcome any uncomfortable feelings we may have by approaching him and strive toward this path of peace. This will give the "offender" a chance to be aware of his actions and apologize or try to rectify them. Ramban - Leviticus 19:17 ..... Please send any feedback for any of the episodes to [email protected]
