#14 - Santiago Laserna
from Mike Bass Podcast · host Mike Bass
What a great conversation with Santiago Laserna!Santiago is from Cochabamba, Bolivia, with a background in economics. He's been in Lansing on a fellowship with MSU, and is also working with the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP). He's also a rad musician/singer-songwriter!We met at the Blue Owl open mic in REO Town and became musician friends. Santiago wanted my take on the creative economy and the future growth of Lansing before heading back home to Bolivia, so I said we should podcast about it and then he can play a few tunes! He also sent me the studio version of Wheels on Fire from his band, Capital, and I play it during the podcast right after his acoustic performances. It's GREAT!Thank you again to Santiago for helping make Lansing a better place during his time here, and wishing him the very best in life and safe travels on his way home! See you again man! Here's where you can find Santiago online:Santiago's personal musician pages: Instagram | Facebook | Spotify | YouTubePages for Santiago's band, Capital: Spotify
