14. Your Body Is Talking - It's Time To Listen!

from Lifted You Weight Loss

Body Connection: Welcome to Layer 4 of your foundation: Body Connection! The goal of Layer 4 is to hear your body's signals and respond on purpose. For a long time, I didn’t realize how disconnected I was from my own body and how much that was affecting my life. In this episode I share a moment that made it very clear that my body had been trying to tell me something for a long time... and I hadn't been listening. I'm far from perfect, but I do so much better now. I see my body more as a partner I want to listen to- a relationship I want to nourish. We're starting to build the process of becoming a natural eater who is naturally thin.  And that starts by acknowledging, respecting and listening to our body's natural systems. In this episode, we’ll look at what body connection means, what a disconnection looks like in real life, and what it looks like to begin building a relationship with your body.In layer 4 you'll learn to hear your body clearly and start to recognize the signals you’ve been missing. You'll begin to respond on purpose instead of reacting out of habit.  Even if you've ignored certain body signals your whole life, you can start listening today!
