Name your favorite films of all time (limit 3) Name a film you think is underrated Name a film you think is overrated Name a lesser-known film that you think people should seek out David Aufdembrinke, the filmmaker behind the award winning film “DREAM/life” answers the Discover Indie Film Four Questions! “DREAM/life” which took home three awards at Film Invasion Los Angeles in 2019, including the Grand Jury Prize for Best Director, and the Filmmakers Awards for Outstanding Short Film and Outstanding Screenplay. “DREAM/life” is in Season 3 Episode 2 of the Discover Indie Film TV Series on Amazon Prime Video.  Click here to be taken to the Amazon page. or you can go to Prime Video on your TV and search for “Discover Indie Film.” This interview kind of has to have two disclaimers.  The first is that we recorded this in February, 2020, a few weeks before a global pandemic hit.  There are not any timely references, but David mention future filmmaking plans that obviously got interrupted by COVID-19.  The second is that we spoke over Skype or FaceTime, I can’t remember which, and we had a little delay that often made it harder for us to not speak over each other.  My hope is that someday the world returns to normal and perhaps David will find himself in Los Angeles and we can talk about his next film in person!
