It's the Jeep 85-year celebration event. 85 years of daring to ask, what if? Like, what if we didn't sacrifice capabilities for comfort? Or what if nothing?

On the road ahead, it can hold us back. For decades, we've chased every, what if, why not, who, where, and how? And the answer? Because we can.

Right now, gets to represent financing for up to 84 months on select models. Plus, eligible customers get $1,850 in Jeep Anniversary Bonus Cash on all Jeep models. See your Jeep dealer for details. Hello and welcome to Retrospection.

No, this isn't a rerun. We are leaping back into the world of Bionic Live. Bionic's showdown, the $6 million man and the Bionic Woman from 1989. It's the second part of our look at TV reunion movies.

My name's Colin, and hey, they don't want a clone of me, they couldn't handle it. Who would want to? Everybody with a decent pair of gloves. You definitely need a glove.

You wouldn't attend to it like a glove, would you? No, no, no. What would they call me from? What part of your body would they call you from?

My right fingernail. What do you want to say then? I know you would. A minus pole and wouldn't an enemy just love to get their hands on this body.

For medical reasons? Hey, I'll take it, whatever. So they saw they could throw it, noodle in front of the other people, and scare the enemy into retreating. Well, there's nothing new there.

No. No, you've done that before. I was going the enemy for 50 years. What's on you the enemy either?

I could guess. I'm sure you could. It's Stairs Lindsey Wagner as Jamie Summers, Lee Major as a Steve Austin, Richard Anderson as Oscar Goldman, Sandra Bullock as Kate Mason, Jeff, Jaga? It's not like that.

Yeah, you go Jaga. As Jim Goldman, who we know as being from V, the miniseries? Yeah, he's an interesting guy as well, isn't he? Do tell.

Well, as well as being an actor, he's also probably one of the... He's got another career. He's one of the leading resin model sculptors, especially like horror Universal Monsters and things like that. Apparently he's the go-to guy for companies.

Well, OK, did not know that. And he's got an older brother who was the special effects expert that worked on the Knight Runell Street. Excellent. Martin Ebrox as Dr.

Rudy Wells, Lee Major's II, Lee Major's II, Lee Major's II, how are we supposed to say it? As Jim Castilian, Joseph Summer as Charles Estimone, Grant Wind Davis as Alan Devlin, who apparently is in every episode of the first season of Earl for Major Mike Rivers. I have absolutely no memory of him. It's the last season, isn't it?

Is it the last season? It's the last season. It's the terrible season. It's the Canadian one.

Yeah, it's that terrible one. He's also... He's in pretty much every TV show that's ever been. But I know him from a TV show in the 90s called Forever Knight, which was a vampire show, which was based on...

Do you remember Nick Knight? Yeah. You remember the Nick Knight movie? Don't you?

Yeah, yeah. I even remember the Forever Knight. That's one of those shells that you were like, Oh, you should watch this coin. You should watch this.

I've taped every episode specially for you. Please watch it. I didn't take over my beauty in the beast. I put it alongside my beauty in the beast collection.

Please watch it and I go, no, Paul. It's rubbish. I've got all three seasons of it on DVD. If you want to borrow it, make time.

I'll ship them over to you. No, that's OK. You've got to promise me to send them. You'll send them back, all right?

Oh, I'll send them right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lawrence Dain is General Zerensky and Robert Lanzinga's General McAllister. So why did they give two very similar characters the same name Jim?

Yeah, that's a bit strange, isn't it? Although he refers to himself as Jim, he doesn't he? Just a different show. And except when he's introduced to Jim, he calls himself James.

It's almost like they were the same character and they just split it into two. I wonder whether they did. It's like, oh, Jim's been paralyzed. Oh my god, Jim, no, no, you're nephew, Jim.

That Jim? I mean, Judge him from some of the writing in this. That wouldn't surprise me. Well, maybe Lee Major will only work on a show if there are two characters called Jim.

It's like a lucky champ. Because you know, Dusty and Huffman does that, right? He'll only work on something if there's two characters called Benny Habadashari, Drew Fact. I don't know whether to believe you're not a colleague.

Probably, Jim. Yeah, it's probably the best. This is actually Sandra Bullock's first TV credit, isn't it? Yes.

It is? Yeah. She's good. I don't think, generally.

I mean, she's in this. Well, Paula said it here in case anybody was on a word but Sandra Bullock is good. Yeah, Stanford approval there. Yeah, there you go.

That'll do a career. I wonder if good. Well, she's been waiting for this. I think she that's why she's kind of tailed off a little bit.

Because she didn't have the Stanford approval. That's right. From me. Wow.

OK. All right. First shank for this in the UK was on BSB, the movie channel, in June 1992. 1992?

Oh, wow. A couple of years after it was released. I think it was on NBC in the States. Wasn't it April 89, something like that?

Yes. Yeah. Like other bionic TV movies, the first one, for example, they helped this would be a pilot for a new series. It wasn't.

Yeah, they've got that in common with the Man from Uncle that we did last on. Yes. Yes. Well, Richard Anderson had a strange deal where he could do these TV movies.

And if they didn't make it into a series, he was allowed to do another TV movie. And he had a certain number that he could do. I don't know why he had this power. But I guess he was a big shot at the time.

No, I guess he was. Yeah. I mean, he was quite a big TV star, wasn't he? Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The director of this Alan J.

He was legendary TV director. He worked on such shows as about Sturgolactica, Marley Vise, Magnum, Quantum Leap, Loewece and Clark, and obviously $6 million back in the 70s as well. Yeah. So he's a director that has pretty much worked on nearly every show that we've covered so far in retrospections.

That's true. Yeah. Yeah. Safe pair of hands.

You would think so, wouldn't you? This really only briefly mentions it. But the first reunion movie established that Steve Austin had left OSI and started a boat service. See, I didn't get any of this because I haven't watched any of this before previous to it yet.

OK. They only mention it briefly in that they go to his boat at one point. But they don't mention that that that's his actual job. Oh, right.

I hope he's not finding everyone's planning on it being age-on in the future because it doesn't stick around. No, no, but it seems like an odd choice. He's done something to do with a craft. Being an astronaut and a pilot.

Yeah. Yeah, he would think so. Maybe stick a player at that point. Right.

Yeah. And Jamie is a she's like a psychotherapist for OSI agents that come under stress and pressure. That's what she does now, which that one I can totally see. Yeah, yeah, because she's always the kind of touchy-feely one, wasn't she?

I was going to say teacher. You know, I was going to go that way. Yeah, well, you know what I mean? You want to be touchy-feely a teacher?

I mean, you know. No, no, no, that's true. Oh, no. I'll hold it in, call it, hold it in.

Don't let it out. I'll let it out. You know what? She's the only one I was going to say.

Oh, I can imagine. I can imagine. Yeah. I'll leave an app in, though, because that was funny.

I was going to say, I'm not a few teachers who I wished were touchy-feely. I know you are. Yeah. So do you have any more info?

No, it's not. I was trying to find what the budget for this was, but can't find it anywhere, which is weird, because I could find the budget for the Man from Uncle Moving. Right. Not this.

And I could find the budget for the movie that came out of the return one. But this is a secret, aren't they? Sorry, I don't know. OK.

Let's say lots of money, then. You reckon? All right. OK.

So the opening credits are various clips from the TV show and from this movie. Music's a bit rubbish, isn't it? Why is it with all these reunion movies having like awful music? I don't know.

Because we talked about it when we looked at Man from Uncle. And then I don't know if you remember a couple years ago when we did the Night Rider movie. That I'd tell them music as well. Indeed.

Why can't they just keep the theme tune? Who's nothing wrong with the theme tune? No. But you've got to jazz it up and make it all 80s.

Yeah. Well, they don't even do that with this. It's not really the theme tune. It's got bits of it, I suppose, here and there.

And it's just not. It's Bill Contee as well. So it's not like it's not like it's not like it's not just like, no need to be rude about the guy. But it should be better than this.

It's like something like a game show theme tune. Yeah, it does. Yeah. Yeah.

To get out of men in a helicopter flying over DC, and we open an on a gather event for the world unity games at the Pentagon. Doesn't look like the Pentagon. It looks like a high school auditorium. It does a bit.

I think it does a stage, doesn't it? It's a stage at the Pentagon. They put them shows. Yeah, maybe.

The Pentagon's spectacular. Oh, that'd be amazing. It would be. Yeah.

We're willing to ask his unhappy because he has to spend time with old enemies like generals or in skiing because it's all glass nosed at this point. All the people in the room are once he's far to get. He's pretty angry. I know how he feels when he's has to face to face against his enemies.

Why are you looking at that? Oh, no reason. Yeah, he's got a bit, he's one tweet away from complaining about how the Marvel movies have gotten too well, isn't he? He's that angry about things.

He's a bit over the fact that he's been a bit over the fact that he's changed. Yeah, he's got to be, he's one tweet away from complaining about how the Marvel movies have gotten too well, because he's that's angry about things. It is a bit over the top. Yeah.

But he should be happy though because I don't know how he does it. He seems to have more hurt in 1989 than he did in 1975. That's why Peace talks does to you. Make sure that we're going for something.

Yeah, yeah. Steve Austin is there and he's going to propose to Jamie and he's talking to Oscar's nephew, Jim Goldman, who has an amazing per style. It's the mollit and all mollit, doesn't it. It is.

It is beautiful. They make the majors look pretty good, though, doesn't they? Well, the majors looks pretty good in this, though. Yeah, it does, yeah.

Considering he's probably what he needs to want, maybe at least at this point, mate? Yeah, probably about that. Yeah. Jim's training for the World Unity games, which Steve is organised in security for.

The other Jim appears, and he knows about the wedding proposal. Everybody knows about this wedding proposal. And then we meet General McCallister, who's kind of... Well, let's believe he's the bad guy, because he's the one who wants to come in, get rid of Goldman, shape up the OSI, and change the rules, and kind of take over.

And one thing's just doing his best control from equaliser in this role, isn't he? Yes, yes. There were moments where I actually thought I was watching equal, I was able to explain it exactly the same. I was just wishful thinking.

Alright, yeah, I suppose, yeah. But when Steve is just about to pop a question to Jamie, a masked intruder who is in a Nixon mask breaks into the building, still seeking information. And this intruder seems to have bionic powers, right? Because there's gunfire, the helix to land, and he's throwing people around, he throws a golden through a window.

And then I ask someone, yell, don't let him take off. No, no, really. I was planning on just letting him go. He was shot kind of confusing me as well, because you just see people go flying through the window.

She don't actually see him pick anyone up and throw at them. But they do do a bionic noise. Oh, I miss almost a miss that. Was there an old-fashioned bionic noise?

It's kind of a re-worked bionic noise. Alright, okay. The next day we're introduced to Kate Mason, who's played by Santa Bullock. She's watching videos of herself when she was in a wheelchair.

Alright, so she was being in a wheelchair since she was six, but if it's bionic operation works, she'll be able to walk again. I actually think that she's pretty good in this. Yeah, I think so. And this scene with her and Jamie, where she's having a little bit of a heart attack and you get a lot of...

Very exposition-heavy scene, isn't it? I thought Lindsay Wagon was excellent in this. She's quite naturalistic in her approach to it. I always found Lindsay Wagon, her acting is strange sometimes.

Yeah, he's kind of got a body-capped pop. Yeah, it's not bad. It's almost like she's making it up as it goes along. That's good, right?

That's a very natural way of doing it. Yeah, yeah, but I guess it's more noticeable because nobody else is doing it. Everybody else is doing TV acting. Yeah, they're just doing their lines.

But I really like her. Yeah, I mean, I've just watched all of the bionic women. I really like her in that. So, what did you get really well explaining about this?

Was it bones that stretch or something like that? Nuclear capillaries. Yeah, because bionics aren't like the old bionics. They're actually like grafted onto a blood vessels and factories.

And they put them all in, but it doesn't work until they do this final piece that triggers the doll. I've got to say, though, I think I always liked about six million dollars. Even though it's all nonsense. It is, isn't it?

It's nonsense. It's always presented in a way that seems plausible. Right. And I always like that they set up these rules.

Like Steve Austin can do this, this and this. That's it. And they don't invent something new every week. You know, like Knight, right?

A kick gets an extra gadget that just happens to be useful that week. They never did that with a bionic woman, or the six million dollar man. They had the fixed things that they could do and they stuck. Yeah, he never turns into an inspector gadget, does he?

No, no, no. Wow, that would have been good, wouldn't it? He does wear the Mac in this film. He actually does.

I quite disappointed in his clothes in this film. I mean, he's gone from looking like an absolute player in the 70s to dressing like somebody's granddad. It's like an up-market colour. It is, isn't it?

Yeah, I mean, he's wearing it up. It'd have been better if they'd left him just wearing all his gear from the 70s. Massive colours. Yeah, it's always moved on, except him.

And Kate's like, Jamie, Jamie, you probably should tell Steve that this stuff isn't in fashion anymore. And she's like, oh, no, no, no, no. Have you seen his Kung Fu grip on his words? They'll never take him off him.

They'll never get away with a life. So he's just thus parting all the chains and stuff. Well, you know, it would be difficult to prize out every chance because he's got that lever in his back that you can press really hard and make his hand move, can't you? That's true, right?

No, Jane Holmes. Right. Yeah, so Wells is completing the operation with a video camera and there's a bunch of civilians and military officials watching. Steve arrives at OSI but finds he's restricted to all these certain buildings.

And the guards stop him and says, you're not going to go by Anakin, are you? So this guard knows that he's by Anakin? It's gone from it supposedly being a secret, although I wouldn't have it in the original series anyway because he kind of shows it to everybody. Well, they always did that gag, which became a gag where he'd say to him, what level are you and they go, I'm a level six and they go, well, you just become a level nine.

And they do that same gagging by an equal. Oh, OK. Yeah. It becomes like a jokey one.

And he used to say things like, oh, I drink a lot of carriages and things like that, I didn't know. But no, everybody seeks to know about it. Yeah. But they've frozen him out, haven't they?

They've frozen him out. He's not allowed in there anymore. Yes, well, he's technically he's left, right? Yeah, that is a bit of a good point because it's kind of like an old employee turn up.

Because I walk into the back of somewhere and like, oh, what are you doing? It's like if I price reopened, I just found you sitting at the counter. Munching a sandwich. It'll be like back there, really.

Flipping through doffy CDs, the original doffy, the 90s doffy, the Brit pop doffy. Oh, you got that. No, right. I could have mentioned strange love, oasis, blur, elastica, pulp.

No, it's just where it's at. I've got to go. Men's were. They aren't for any of the Brit pop bands.

My life story. He finished. He's got a free CD collection. Yeah, CDs.

From 93 to 99. The glory years. I remember. Back in the lab, the procedure is complete and Kate stands and then she walks.

I did always like to do an original show and they do do it in this. They do touch on the psychology of the patient, you know, what would it something like to do to somebody. They do it. Well, that's how they do it in the original show.

They do it in the pilot and then they forget about it later. They do it again when in the $7 million dollar man episode where the other guy gets made by on it. Yes, and he goes a bit nuts, doesn't he? Yeah, and they did it again with the bionic by.

That's wrong. Yeah. And I guess they touch on it with the bionic dog in the bionic woman episodes. Yeah, suppose.

So they do it a lot. So fuck it. Yeah. Yeah.

Why you've never been so wrong? Yeah. I've been wrong in that. Wronger.

Where was that? Wronger. Jesus. Want to say that again?

I've never been more wrong. I have been more wrong. Oh, whatever. Yeah, you are.

Whatever. I'm even drinking. Jesus. Are you sure?

Maybe that's it. Maybe you need to. Yeah. I think that might be the answer.

Yeah. She accidentally squeezes a man's hand too much because she doesn't know her own power. And she dents the chair when she pushes herself over as well as a drink. She does.

Yeah. That's a great one. Yeah, you like that one? It's an umbrella.

Gripping you what? Gripping you like that. No. Steve wants to know why his security has been lessened.

I mean, it's obvious. He no longer works there. That's a stupid question. Steve asks us that the intruder was bionic and knew where the security keys were.

But there's only four bionic humans. Steve Austin, his son, Michael, and Jamie. I kind of forgot about the guy that they made bionic who went crazy and forgot about the bionic. But technically, suppose because at the end of the episodes, they have the strength flow.

They turn them down, don't they? Yes, maybe it doesn't count. I'll let that slide. It's not that the rise just forgot about that.

Steve is not Charlotte Kate, only just became bionic. Actually, no, it's not Steve that says that. It's... It's a general.

Oscar is not Charlotte. No, Oscar is not Charlotte Kate. Oscar is not Charlotte Kate. It was only just become bionic.

They could have been activated by another computer. But he doesn't believe she's a traitor. Jamie, he's a knight outside of men with guns. What?

Sorry about that. Sorry about the guy's in a radio play. That was going to be gun shots. I thought I did.

It's a big performing here. This is good. Don't worry. I like that.

General McArthur sent men to keep Jamie and Steve locked in a room. He questioned everybody about the theft because it clearly was done by somebody with bionics. The CIA, go on. Sorry.

You've got a face of someone. Have you got a poo or you've got a question? Do you think that they would really... Do you mind that they would really think that Steve or Jamie might be traitors after everything that they've done?

Well, you'd assume Oscar wouldn't. No, but there's stuff going on, Oscar, isn't there, that we're going to get to. But, McAllister, he's trying to take over anyway, so it's good to get them out. And he doesn't really know them, I suppose.

He doesn't know what he says about them in their files, I guess. I'm wrong again. There you are. I'm sorry.

I'm used to it. I'm used to it. The CIA is involved in this investigation because some of the secrets were theirs. McAllister was suspicious of them and CIA agent Esterman urges them to come to him if they don't cover anything, not somebody with the OSI.

I mean, at that point, you're like, yeah, he's the guilty one. I think at this point, you know who both the guilty... You know who the main guy is and you also know who the bionic guy is. I don't know if one other person in this that it could be.

Yeah. Yeah. So Jamie and Steve break out of the room and jump out of the wall and chase. And then one of the men says, how did they get out?

Does he not know they've got by any? He should go talk to the guy again and look like he's eating it. He's not in the loop. You know.

Why is he not in the loop? What did he do? Because this loop looks pretty big. It is.

It's a chain, really. Yeah. Why do they escape? Because they say, oh, as soon as you're found the process, we're going to let you go.

And then they escape and make it look worse for themselves. Well, they make it look worse themselves, but it doesn't seem to matter. Yeah, it doesn't actually. That's a point.

Nobody comes chasing after them. No. Yeah, it is a weird thing. We see Goldman, he's in his jeep, rehearsing a speech to Kate because it turns out they've known each other since high school and he's in love with her.

He's kind of annoying, isn't he? It's the Jeep 85-year celebration event. 85 years, daring to ask, what if? Like, what if we didn't sacrifice capabilities for comfort?

Or what if nothing? On the road ahead, it could hold us back. For decades, we've chased every, what if, why not, who, where and how? And the answer?

Because we can. Right now, it gets 0% financing for up to 84 months on select models. Plus, eligible customers get $1,850 in Jeep Anniversary bonus cash on all Jeep models. See your Jeep dealer for details.

This character. I have trouble with the two gyms and the other guy telling them a part. Which other guy? The Bionic guy?

Yeah. Sorry I let the car get back there. Just ruin the old episode. Well, thank you for listening to Retrospection.

I'll fix it. I'll, um, Devlin, you're talking about it, aren't you? Devlin. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

They're all very similar. They are. They're all kind of, they're all kind of empty. You know.

Blank. The like. And a lot of these reunion shows. The characters, particularly when they tend to be something that they want to jump off into a new show.

So the old guys are going to be in the background, but these are the real new characters that we want you to get into. They're never that interesting. No. No, there's only Sandra Bullock is interesting in this.

You reckon? I mean, yeah. She's got a character in performance. Yeah.

That's because she's better than this really. Be honest. There's that. Yeah.

All right. But when Goldman pulls up outside a place he sees a holding hands and seemingly close to Alan Devlin. And he thinks they're an item. Yeah.

At this point you're definitely getting that chin rubbing value from Devlin, aren't you? Yeah. Yeah. At a restaurant, Goldman, Jamie and Steve meet up even though they're on the run.

They're on the run, but doesn't seem to matter. And Oscar actually says Powell. He does, yeah. Yeah.

He's like, whoo. Yeah, he said Powell. Because he says in every episode doesn't make sense. Well, at least he didn't call Jamie babe, which he doesn't ever episode of the Bionic Woman.

He was a service, he was. No, no, no. Goldman says that one word has turned up in their investigation. Bullcock.

Actually it's a bullcock, but it sounded like bullcock when I heard it the first time. I thought he said bullcock as well. Yeah. That's where it'll be there.

Yeah. That's where it's going. Goldman takes an effort to ask his boat. Obama's planted on it.

Jim Goldman is on it. As Steve Oscar and Jamie arrive, the boat blows up, throwing Jim clear, but hurting him. He's alive, put in a bad condition. How did it throw him clear?

I'm sure you were standing right on top of where that explosion went off. Let's think about how we can explain this. Go on. Maybe he was standing on a really thick piece of decking and the decking pushed up into the earth and he was on top of it like a spring.

What about all the fire? Yeah, but he was faster than the fire because the deck went first and then the fire was behind it. And then he hit the water putting out the fire. I think that's plausible.

I'll take it. He doesn't explain it. That does it. No.

No. So he's paralyzed, apparently. That's what he led to. Yeah, apparently.

That's what he led to believe. But he's moved to our size, not at a hospital. Steve says Obama's meant for him, but they can use Bionics to make Jim better. But general control.

That's what we're calling it from now on. Okay. Anyone authorize it? No.

Goldman loses his rag. He does. Literally. And, yeah, and resides.

I do think Richard Anderson's probably got between him and Sandra Bullock. And he's got some of the best stuff to do in this. Because they both get scenes where you can mote. Yeah.

And he's got interesting stuff to play and kind of stuff he's never really played as his character before. And when you think about it, I mean, I know it's the $6 billion man, the Bionic woman. They're not really in it that much. They're hardly in it.

It's not. That's another problem about that. Yeah. Yeah.

Which I guess is a product of the fact that it was meant to be a pilot. Yeah. I think so. Yeah.

I guess Richard Anderson was setting it up so that he would be in this new series as well, right? Because he'd be Kate's. Yeah. Maybe that was, wouldn't he?

I think that probably what the plan was that he would be their boss. They would be the two people going off doing stuff. And Jimmy would be her psychic because she's the bionic to one. Yeah.

Yeah. And then occasionally when ratings would be different, they'd probably bring in even the lead majors or Lindsay Wagner in a special guest in an episode of this. Yeah. Yeah.

I agree with that. Later, Alan is welcome with Kate. So talking about Oscar in his resignation. And he says, oh, Oscar's a security risk.

And if you contact Kate, she should tell him. Yes. Because he's trustworthy. Yeah.

Kate visits Goldman. This seems a bit weird because he's bitter because he's paralyzed, but he's not paralyzed. So why is he acting like? We don't know that yet.

They're doing. I can't really understand. I get what you're saying. Yeah.

I know. It's, it's, it, it works dramatically, but it makes no sense when you get the payoff to the fact that he's not really paralyzed later in the movie. Right. Right.

And she's like, oh, there's that Jim Sardonic wit. And then when he makes jokes later, she gets angry that he's making jokes. Yeah. She gets over it pretty quickly.

Really. Yeah. But make you mad. Do you want, do you want to say it on a quit or not?

Are you suggesting that there's inconsistency in this? I just want it was an odd scene. It is an odd scene. I mean, it's not very well because no offense to the Jeff Yeager, but she acts him off the screen.

I mean, he's, yeah, yeah, not good, is he? Really? Well, you know, I mean, you could argue that he's not really got anything to work with. You could argue that?

One note character. Yeah. Steve meets Jamie at the restaurant. They're really making the most out of this restaurant.

Did they, is this, well, they did, I mean, they probably shot this in a day at the whole, all the restaurant scenes. Yeah, just just bang all those scenes out with them and then, yeah. And then like we said, they're not in it much and we're about halfway through this night. Yeah.

And they've not done anything really. Yeah. No. So they find out that, uh, Oscar's in a bar, Oscar is drunk on the shaven and picking up women.

Did you have flashbacks to your own life? Yeah, you beat me to that, didn't you? You knew, you knew about that, didn't you? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

No, I didn't. Oh, okay. Mm hmm. Even if he's drunk, it's a bit harsh of him referring to Stephen, Jamie, as cyborgs and robots, isn't it?

Because don't they have an issue with that? They do. And I suppose from his point of view, he's, I mean, like, like, we can't spoil it, can't we? Because pretty much I would imagine everyone, if you listen to this, you've seen it.

He's faking this, isn't he? So he's not really drunk. I don't think so. You don't, you don't think he's really drunk.

No, I think he's ramping it up. He's, he's, he's not method-acted. No, no, it was me. Yes.

Wait, wait, he must be drunk because we see him afterwards, like, Jamie has to put him to bed. But he's selling it for them as well, isn't he? Why would he have to sell it to them? Because they're not in it, are they?

They don't know that he's... Oh, okay, then we have a difference of opinion, which is going to be interesting in a second. All right, okay. Because you're wrong.

I like, again. I think you are. All right. So just, yeah, just as trouble is about to start, Stephen, Jamie get him out.

It's nighttime and Jim Goldman is in Oscar's office going through the files, but it turns out he's in the wrong office, he's in McAllister's office, and McAllister finds him, tells him that his uncle has resigned, and it's possible he's gone to the other side. He's dead? No, no, no, the Russians. And they're trying to find him.

Yeah. Okay. Who's out of the app? Who's out of the take?

Goldman to? It's, it's Jamie's, isn't it? Jamie's house? OSI is trying to find Oscar Goldman, but can't find him.

Yeah. Oscar Goldman is at Jamie's house. But in all fairness, I mean, they're supposed to be on the run, Stephen, Jamie, run the run as well, right? So isn't that even more a reason why he's put somebody outside Jamie's house?

Yeah, I agree. So they can't find him, but he's at the first place you'd look. Well, isn't that just bad Ryan? I don't know.

What are you suggesting then? No, I'm suggesting that it's weird that, yeah, why, whose house is it because why aren't they found him if that's where he is? Because McAllister's not in on this plan. I think it's just poor Ryan.

If I'm honest, but yeah. I thought it was Kate's house because she just makes herself at home and uses the computer. Oh, it could be, actually. Yeah.

I mean, it's never really established who so is. No, no, no. And she's looking up the name Volkov. While outside, a masked man jumps onto the roof and breaks in.

How come Jamie can't hear this? Because she's got super hearing. Yeah, so how can she not hear the man breaking in? Well, maybe she's been excited on the task at hand, you know, those late 80s dial up computers.

You know, they were at work really well. Yeah. She's like, oh, it's drowning out the intruder that's breaking in. What in treatment?

Yeah, that's probably what it was. All right. So then they hear something. The masked man injects Oscar, knock in your mouth.

Steve goes up and fights the intruder who's knocked over. Meanwhile, Kate and Jamie are doing what? At this point. If she does a game ball, let's see.

Neither one of them game ball. No. No. No.

Kate tries to, but she's knocked over. And then the intruder runs away and neither Steve or Jamie go after the intruder. Even though they both have bionic speed and the intruder is carrying Oscar. You're going to say it's bad writing.

It's not. Jamie and Steve are in on Oscar's plan. Oh, is that what you think? It's actually said at the end of the episode.
