He is the renowned Computational and Systems  Neuroscientist, Anaesthesiologist and Statistician Professor Emery N. Brown who holds endowed chairs at Harvard and MIT and is considered one of the world’s experts on Anaesthesiology.The thing that struck me about Prof.  Brown was his humble persona. He was so gracious, communicative and our conversation continued well after the recording; and what a wonderful and memorable discussion it was. Despite his vast knowledge and unparalleled experience, at no point was I made to feel lesser. Remember, this is an individual that has a street named after him. Incredibly refreshing and admirable.It’s hard not to be taken aback by his many achievements, accolades and awards in the fields of Neuroscience and Anaesthesiology, a true legend. His accomplishments speak for themselves, rounded off by being only one of a handful of individuals who has been elected to all 3 branches of the US National Academy of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine. He served on President Obama’s BRAIN Initiative Working Group and famously testified at the Michael Jackson deposition. Prof Brown expert advice is renowned across the globe because of his meticulous research and analysis work on sleep, anaesthesia & the unconscious mind.So easy to be captivated by him & his mellifluous tones. Highly recommend a listen to some of his video lecture recordings.
