140 Sue Curr - Finally Fearless from Addicted to Accountable in ‘Six Short Weeks’

from Neff Inspiration · host Neff Inspiration

Sue Curr literally spent her whole life traveling life’s loneliest of roads; that of mental ill health as a result of what she deems to be an at times ‘traumatic’ childhood. It was to become a journey which by late September 2012 had descended into near fatal, full blown alcoholism. And saw her admitted to hospital as an emergency, where her family were told to prepare for the worst – she was dying! Much to everyone’s astonishment including her own Sue survived and in doing so took her first tentative steps toward sobriety and becoming finally free of her demons. In her words: The stories we tell ourselves are powerful beyond belief & if we’re not incredibly careful they get us into trouble a lot. On September 26th, 2012, the story I’d been telling myself for my whole life caused me to be admitted to hospital as an emergency with end-stage liver failure. Of course, the five bottles of wine per day I’d been drinking for far too many years up to that point had a great deal to do with that, but it took a six week battle to stay alive before I realised what an idiot I’d been. Sue's 3 top tips - When we reframe our story, we can reboot our mindset & reclaim the life that is ours alone to live - We and we alone have the power to take a chance to choose to change at any given point in time - The need to have a WHY that is bigger than all our shoulds & musts put together Get in touch with Sue: www.suecurr.com  https://www.facebook.com/groups/everythingbegins/  https://www.facebook.com/suecurr.2  https://www.instagram.com/fearlesslivemore/https://www.linkedin.com/in/suecurrempowerment/    If you want learn more about living a fantastic life after alcohol, check out my book! https://www.amazon.com/My-Steps-Sobri...
