1400 BC: Crossing the Jordan

After the spies return, the entire armed camp of Israel, six hundred thousand strong, marched to the Jordan. The priest led the way. When the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant step foot into the Jordan River, a wonder occurs. God halts the Jordan River and makes the waters pile up.
