141 - Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

For our love of the original Donkey Kong County, we couldn't wait to review Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Many consider this to the be best in the series because it took everything from the first installment and made it better: Two fast main characters. A buddy system. More difficult levels. Completing bonus areas matter. Gameplay as the animal characters instead of riding them. Temporary invincibility. The original DKC is still the top notch for us as far as the series goes but this does make a good case for being the superior game.
