Si corres por montaña, tal vez te interesa saber si tu rendimiento en llano y en subida son equivalentes o si tienes tu punto fuerte en una de esas dos áreas. Cabe hacer un sencillo test de campo para averiguarlo. Y cabe repetir dicho test para saber cómo evoluciona tu entrenamiento. Paralelamente, te puede interesar determinar si tu metabolismo es más de tipo “diésel” (oxidativo) o más de tipo “gasolina” (glucolítico). Pero ocurre que el acceso a análisis de gases o biopsias para determinar porcentaje de fibras musculares tipo I y tipo II que tenemos como populares es limitado. Hay también un sencillo test de campo que nos puede dar una idea. En este episodio describo los dos tests.
