Chris is an active campaigner, public speaker and media commentator working to raise the profile of childhood abuse in the UK and the need for legislative and societal change, regularly appearing in the national broadcast and print media. Chris raises awareness of the effects of child abuse and growing up in 3 domestic violent households; she shares the complex trauma impact that this has on the individuals mental, emotional and physical health. I live my life looking for ways to optimise my health, living with Crohn's, Endometriosis and in the early stages of perimenopause 🙃 while running my business, which is built around teaching women to listen to their bodies, respond to what their body is telling them💝, teaching them how to rest properly and offer treatments that enhance resting 💆‍♀️. I love working with movement, nature, herbs & growing food 🍓. Do I have it nailed? Absolutely not 🙄. There are times I overextend myself when I feel well and end up on the couch with fatigue - which then means I don't have the energy to eat well (crisps for dinner 🤷) or exercise. There are days I don't leave the house when I know the health benefits of getting out every day 😕... But that's all part of being human and part of the journey 🙏. It's not about being perfect. It's about doing what you can in the space and time you can.
