143. Discovering and Gaining a No Fear Attitude with Ricky Frey

from The Kris Gethin Podcast

When you face an improbable obstacle in life, how do you respond? Do you give up, or do you keep pressing on?   Ricky Frey is a family man and a great father to his son. He grew up as an athlete and focused on playing soccer during his early school days and at the university level.   When he was at his lowest point in life, he felt completely lost in terms of fitness. He suffered from knee injuries, and had surgeries. He had no energy, was overweight, and depressed   Then he discovered bodybuild.com website twelve years ago, got interested, and immediately became a fan and a follower.   Ricky decided to change his lifestyle and lose weight to get back into shape. But he knew he needed more help than just watching fitness videos.   Eventually, he knew that making a real change would require drastic, constant changes to his lifestyle, so he signed up for one-on-one personal training sessions, and was determined that if he ever hoped to see results, he could not do it alone . By having a professional take him through a set of exercises tailored just for him, and by taking accountability by reporting back on his progress each week, he was able to make the changes needed so that he could become better in both body and mind.   And eventually, he did more than just reach his fitness goals — he was completely transformed, and joined bodybuilding competitions thereon!   Through all of this, Ricky has become a more positive person and has now regained his potential with no fear.   He is now living an authentic life where he can wake up every day feeling good about himself. His increased fitness means he has more energy for his family, his business, and anything else he needs to get done in his daily life.   The takeaway is: it all comes down to believing that nothing can stop you from achieving what you want to do: the only thing holding you back is yourself.   Check out this episode with Rick Frey as he shares his journey on rediscovering barriers to fitness and how to overcome it, as well as working on your mindset, and lifestyle change to achieve a full healthy and happier life. ---------------- Follow me on Instagram and feel free to DM about 1-1 online training @krisgethin Do you need elite sports supplements you can trust to help you achieve your goals in the gym and in life?  Click here https://bit.ly/kgkaged Use the code Healthkik for 15% off all supplements For my preferred Biohacking and anti-aging supplements, go to https://bit.ly/kgbiostacklabs For a range of organic CBD tinctures, bath bombs and muscle recovery creams that I use for sleep, anxiety, joint/muscle pain and relaxation, go to https://bit.ly/kgeliteprocbd You heard me talking about it throughout this episode, MASSZYMES: A safe and natural digestive enzyme supplement for men and women which contains essential enzymes for better digestion, less bloating and relief from constipation and gas.
