Jay remembers the great Naomi Judd, who passed last week at the age of 76. The matriarch of the mother-daughter country group “The Judds”, Naomi was a driven and talented artist who struggled with severe depression near the end of her life. The Bluebird, capacity ~750 and about 5 blocks from Indiana University Bloomington, has a great atmosphere (even on Dollar beer nights!). It’s also hosted some pretty impressive acts over the years, in part because of it’s location between St. Louis & Cincinnati.
