Part 2 of Eoin's chat with Daniel Newman (@t1d_dan)Daniel is from the UK and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 10. Admittedly, Daniel wasn't the best at his diabetes management in the early years. He says himself that as a teen he just wanted to be able to hang around with his friends after school and eat 'junk'.Daniel has experienced complications from his diabetes which include Diabetic Retinopathy and in 2018 had to undergo a kidney transplant.
